Partner B- Slum Area Pastor
Our new friend, Partner B we’ll call him, is an incredible new pastor of a church plant in a slum area. His heart is that his community, as well as 2 surrounding slum areas, would come to accept and follow Jesus. In just 3 months, he has already assessed countless needs that he hopes to address. His prayer is that with tangible blessing, they will experience the love and provision of God and open their hearts to Him.
One pressing need he sees is that his community needs clean drinking water and restroom facilities. We are currently working with another partner to bring water filters for 100 families there! These will be provided in the next 4 weeks. We are praising God for this miracle! We are also currently praying for God to provide what we need to build various restroom facilities.
Other needs we hope to soon assist in meeting include skills training as well as tutoring and teaching materials.
While we offer tangible blessings to the unreached community, we are also offering intangible blessings by pouring into Partner B and his family. We are walking through some discipleship resources, having weekly check-ins, and praying with him to ensure he has accountability and spiritually-edifying community.
